After completion of the legal process related to the party’s recognition, President Thapa has called a meeting of the Central Working Committee for Saturday. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 am at Arpan Banquet in New Baneshwor. According to party sources, the meeting will review recent political developments in the country and discuss the party’s future course of action and strategy. Thapa, who was elected party president through the special convention held at Bhrikutimandap from Poush 27 to 30, received the certificate of official recognition from the Election Commission on Friday.
