The Parsa District Court has ordered Rastriya Swatantra Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane to post bail of Rs 10 million. The order was issued in a case filed against Lamichhane and 29 others on charges of embezzlement of funds from the Sano Paila Savings and Credit Cooperative. According to court registrar Devaraj Bhattarai, a single bench of Judge Rudra Subedi ordered Lamichhane to furnish bail of Rs 10 million. Lamichhane appeared before the court on Tuesday to record his attendance.
