Authorities have imposed a curfew in Butwal and Bhairahawa after Gen Z demonstrations turned violent on Monday. The Rupandehi District Administration Office announced that the curfew would be in effect from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in designated areas of both cities. The order prohibits gatherings of more than five people, as well as sit-ins, rallies, and protests.
