Congress to Move Forward United, Says Dhanraj Gurung - english.pardafas.com
Nepali Congress leader Dhanraj Gurung has said that all factions within the party will move forward in unity. Speaking to journalists on Sunday after a gathering organised by the faction led by senior leader Dr Shekhar Koirala, Gurung said there is a shared understanding among leaders and cadres that the party must remain united. He said participants at the gathering expressed a clear view that all Congress factions should work together. Gurung described the Nepali Congress as a single household, saying disagreements among family members should be taken as a normal process. He also said that senior leader Shekhar Koirala is firmly in favour of party unity. “We have gathered here in the new situation to listen to our colleagues,” Gurung said. “Friends from across the country have come, so today was about hearing their views and understanding what is in their minds. This was not a meeting to make decisions. However, there was a strong message that the Congress must move forward together, and we all share the same view — we will move ahead united.” He added that internal issues within the party should not be exaggerated unnecessarily, urging all sides not to turn minor disagreements into major disputes. The post Congress to Move Forward United, Says Dhanraj Gurung first appeared on epardafas.com.
