KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has once again urged party President Sher Bahadur Deuba and other senior leaders, including Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, to participate in the ongoing special convention in Kathmandu’s Bhrikutimandap. Presenting his political proposal at the event, Thapa emphasized that the convention is being held in accordance with the party constitution and cannot be deemed illegal. He highlighted that while many leaders and party workers across the country have reached out to express their support, some leaders have been hesitant to attend due to fear of local district leaders. Thapa stressed that the party must actively move forward to send a message of hope to the nation, urging all leaders to participate in the convention organized under the party’s constitutional framework.
