KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal witnessed a sharp rise on Wednesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the rate of Chhapawal increased by Rs 10,400, reaching Rs 295,100 per tola. On the previous trading day, Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs 284,700 per tola. Silver prices also saw an upward trend on Wednesday. From Rs 5,880 per tola on Tuesday, silver rose to Rs 5,920 per tola. The association further reported that 10 grams of gold is currently trading at Rs 253,000, while 10 grams of silver is priced at Rs 5,076.
