One Killed as Tipper Truck Plunges off Road in Palpa - english.pardafas.com

One person was killed in a road accident near the Bishwakarma Temple in Jorte of Ribdikot Rural Municipality-2 in Palpa district early this morning. The accident occurred at around 4:00 am when a tipper truck carrying cement from Nawalparasi to Gulmi veered off the road and fell approximately 250 metres downhill. The vehicle involved bears registration number Na 8 Kha 365, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Hom Prakash Chaudhary of the District Police Office. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Keshav Sunar. Police said it has not yet been confirmed whether Sunar was driving the vehicle or was another occupant. It also remains unclear whether there were other people in the truck at the time of the accident.
