Ladies Circle Nepal hosts International Mid-Term Meet for the Asia Pacific Region (APAC) of Ladies Circle International

Ladies Circle Nepal proudly hosted the Mid-Term Meet, welcoming members from across Asia-Pacific and beyond. The gathering saw women leaders from Sri Lanka, India, Lithuania, Belgium, Finland, Dubai along with members from Nepal who are united by one shared purpose. Ladies Circle International (LCI) is a global network for women upto 45 with a single motto of Friendship and Service. Today, the association boasts of approximately 13,000 members, in over 40 countries across continents Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Over the years the simple yet powerful motto has been translated into action through meaningful charitable contributions. In the year 2024-25 alone, donations ranged from education support to health initiatives to the tune of Eur 1.2 mn.
For Ladies Circle Nepal, one of the proudest milestones has been the construction and support of an autism school in Bhaktapur with donation totalling to NPR 1.20 cr in 2025-26, by creating a safe and nurturing learning space for children with special needs. The project stands as a symbol of commitment, compassion, and long-term impact.
Nepal was honored to host the Mid Term Meet and showcase true Nepali hospitality and culture through its varied cuisine, lively music, different dance forms from all its communities. The current APAC President is Sanjana Selvarajah from Sri Lanka. It was a defining moment for Nepal, when past president of Ladies Circle Nepal, Risha Agrawal won the election against all member countries of the APAC region. She will lead LCI APAC for the year 26-27 recognising Nepal’s growing leadership within the global Ladies Circle movement.
