Round Table Nepal Provides Essential Relief to Over 3,000 Flood-Affected Families

Kathmandu, Nepal – Round Table Nepal (RTN) has successfully distributed essential aid to families severely impacted by recent floods in various parts of the country. This large-scale relief effort included food, groceries, clothes, blankets, medicines, and monetary assistance, providing much-needed support to flood victims in the regions of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok, Makwanpur, and Jhapa.
The initiative benefitted more than 3,000 victims, with a total relief outlay exceeding Rs. 6.5 lakh. RTN, with the support of its members and volunteers, made concerted efforts to ensure that families received the aid required to meet their basic needs and regain some stability during this difficult time.
The relief distribution included:
1. Food and essential groceries to ensure families had adequate nutrition
2. Clothes and blankets to offer protection and warmth
3. Medicines and essential healthcare supplies
4. Monetary assistance to support families in rebuilding their lives
Ms. Ashma KC, Miss Nepal, joined us in this noble cause, sharing RT Nepal’s strong belief in supporting those displaced by the floods.
“Our mission was to address the immediate needs of families affected by the floods, ensuring they had access to basic necessities during this challenging time,” said Tr Pravesh Agrawal, President of Round Table Nepal. “By coming together as a community, we hoped to provide some relief and stability to these families.”
The distribution took place at multiple locations across the affected districts, with the aim of reaching all families in need. This initiative is part of RTN’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, particularly those affected by natural disasters and socio-economic challenges.
