In the wake of the recent protests that shook the nation and caused unfortunate damage and unrest, Round Table Nepal has demonstrated its unwavering spirit of service and fellowship. Different Tablers came forward with timely initiatives to support both law enforcement and medical services, ensuring that vital needs were met during this challenging period.
Biratnagar Prime Round Table 10 (BPRT-10) extended its support to the Traffic Police Office, Morang by donating and installing 2 outdoor surveillance cameras, 1 monitor screen, and 1 printer. These essential items, damaged during the unrest, were crucial for the smooth functionality and efficiency of the office. This gesture served as a meaningful step towards rebuilding and supporting public institutions in times of crisis.
At the same time, Kathmandu Round Table 25 (KTRT-25) rose to the occasion by assisting the medical frontline. On 9th September 2025, as hospitals witnessed an influx of patients injured during the Gen Z protest, KTRT-25 swiftly donated surgical items and essential medicines to Bir Hospital and Civil Hospital. Tablers Ripul Garg and Manindra Singh Raghav personally ensured the timely delivery of these supplies, which provided immediate relief to doctors and medical staff tirelessly working on the ground. Their effort was further reinforced by the generous contributions of the Round Table fraternity, including support from Kathmandu Round Table 7 (KTRT-7) and Tr. Biraj from KMRT-4, who donated additional medicines.
The initiative reflects the true Round Table spirit of fellowship and service, proving that in times of crisis, we stand united to serve society’s urgent needs. Along with this in later days other Tabler’s extended their support as well.
