“Ramailo bhayo ta?”
“YES!!!!”
The cheer echoed across Dhanyenteri Sports Arena, carrying with it laughter, excitement, and pure joy. For four unforgettable days, the arena transformed into a space where hope, confidence, and happiness ran as freely as the children themselves.
Round Table Nepal (RTN)—a chapter of Round Table International—brought together 145 children from seven different orphanages across Kathmandu for a vibrant four-day sports festival. Rooted in its mission to support the education and wellbeing of underprivileged children, RTN created more than just a sporting event—it created memories, inspiration, and belief.

The festival featured a range of sports including Table Tennis, Badminton, Futsal, and various physical activity–based games specially designed for younger children. Participants ranged from as young as 5 years old to 17, making the event a beautiful blend of energy, enthusiasm, and youthful determination.
Beyond the running, sweating, and cheering, something deeper was taking place. As observed by RTN member Paras Agarwal, the event helped plant a powerful seed in the children’s minds—a belief that they too can dream big and achieve their goals. More importantly, it reminded them that Round Table Nepal will always stand beside them in their journey.
The sports activities were professionally coordinated by Play Nepal, an organization dedicated to promoting the physical and mental wellbeing of children. Their guidance ensured that the games were not only fun, but also safe, inclusive, and development-focused.

The festival concluded on a heartwarming note. Members of RTN Club 25 (the organizing table), along with Round Table Nepal President Sumit Mittal, Immediate Past President Nitesh Kumar Agarwal, and fellow RTN members, came together to celebrate the children’s efforts.
Medals, certificates, jerseys, and sports equipment were distributed—symbolic rewards meant not just to honor participation, but to encourage the children to continue playing, growing, and believing in themselves long after the festival ended.
Since 1999, Round Table Nepal has been working relentlessly as a non-profit organization, committed to uplifting communities and shaping brighter futures for children across the country. This sports festival was yet another chapter in RTN’s ongoing story—one written with compassion, collaboration, and hope.
Because sometimes, all it takes to change a life is a chance to play, a reason to smile, and someone who believes in you.
